Classifications Available in Indian Management education

     In India for the person those who want to peruse a Management education there are two wide programs and other some degrees available. The most common degrees are
  1. PGDM(Post Graduate Diploma In Management) provided by reputed institutions like IIMs and other B.Schools
  2. MBA (Masters in Business Administration) Offered by premier B.schools and universities.
  3. Other degrees like MHRM, PG Diplomas, MFM, MMM, MCS also available in various institutes based on their specialization.
All the above stated institutions have their own ways to selecting and admitting the students for the available degree programs.
CAT – Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM’s) for selecting students, the student’s secured top marks in the entrance are considered and they got admitted for these Institutions.
MAT – Management Aptitude Test is the another Entrance examination conducted by All India Management Education (AIMA), Here People secured high percentile got place in reputed institutions. The Institutions classified and admitting students based on their expectations towards the Minimum and Maximum marks in the entrance examination. Even they are allowing the students, those who secured good marks in CAT.
Common Entrance Examination – Every state government have their own local examination for admitting students into their university offered MBA and relevant Programs, were a person secured a negative mark also have the possibility to get a MBA admission in any institution according to the vacancies available.
            Also If a person don’t want to get into the common entrance or who can get the admission over the regular procedure have the possibility of getting the admission over the Management quota admission and he have the opportunity of writing another examination conducted by the association of self financing institutions.   
            Here I am not intended to blame any person belongs to this activities, But I wish to suggest the policy makers to make the changes, which will improve the standards of those studies. Management studies and the person, who is holding an Management degree, were treated honorably in the job market & in the Society in the earlier stages. But now situation got changed and every where the management degree sold like chocolates because of that the value provided to this degree also got changed.

A Trip to Hogenakkal

My roommates used to be busy even in the weekends and hardly get time to relax. We planned for a trip to Hogenakkal for the past 4 months and it executed on 08 th of March. This trip means something to me and I wish to share the experiences. Hogenakkal falls is a waterfall on the river Kaveri; sometimes described as the “Niagara of India”.
