Some people can be called as Handicapped

Some people can be called as Handicapped

Today (03/12/2012) is the day for alternatively abled people. I thought this is my duty to publish this blog today and create awareness to all. This topic will irritate you even if you are not a physically challenged person. I will explain the reason why I have mentioned this in my below blog.

There is the evolutionary thought from the government for the people who born with the physical defects needs to be called as “Alternatively abled people” or “Differently abled people”. This initiative will prevent people from get disabled mentally. For the betterment of their lives government offer lot of priorities to them in terms of special allocation in the education, job and special queue’s and etc. Still there are some additional things needs to improve for the lives.

I come to the matter now; the big question is who are all can be called as handicapped? This blog is not going to explain about any legal provisions, government orders, government notification or anything. I want to share my experiences I have faced in several places happening against the physically challenged people.

My Experiences

           1. Six month before, I went to Chennai airport to receive my friend. There I saw one alternatively abled person waiting outside the toilet which is allocated for the physically challenged people. After few minutes one guy who is having a gigantic strong physic came out of that special toilet. I cannot understand the reason why that fellow used that and made this real beneficial to wait outside.

          2.    All the buses having special seats for the physically challenged people, I saw people who are good with their physic occupying the seats, and not giving the same to the person who is physically challenged. In the absence of the people, if you sit in the seats I don’t mind, as the same time if such a person entering inside you should be the first person give the place to them.

          3.    I saw another incident in the local bus, when I am roaming in Tamilnadu. In a specific bus stop one physically challenged person coming to catch the bus and the conductor purposefully avoiding that person by saying it will take time for the person to reach and claim in the bus.

          4.    I saw people kidding the physically challenged people by talking about their disability and by saying few proverbs.

         5.    There are lots of similar examples available with about the harassment's happening to this people. I hope the readers of this blog also experienced the same and more.

What will you call this people who are all did this harassment's? I want to call this people as handicapped, since they are not ready to use their abilities and give the way to the people alternatively abled.

I pray the government and the executing the authorities to ensure the facilities provided to the physically challenged people to be accessible to them. The common public also should help them to get their rights and use of it.

Since I wrote the blog with few emotions and sentiments, there are possibilities for mistake. I request the readers; please let me know if there is any mistake, by that I can correct the blog and myself. Also forgive me if it hurts you.

                                    Thanks for your time

Setup a Strong Password

My previous blog cited about various unhealthy methods used in setting up a password. Here I would like to explain how to set up a strong and secure password which will not require great intellectual skills.      Instead of giving a passage, I thought of explaining this through some examples. The Setup your passwords as a phrase instead of single meaningful word. It is advisable and secure to use the textese (Known as SMS language) instead of words.   Password with words I would suggest you to take a small quote or statement instead of words predictable by others. “I love India” is a statement this can be used as “IlveInd”. In the given password you can find both capital and small letters used and the password strength is 7 letters were as most of the text only passwords require only 6 letters. Password with Alphabets and Numbers You may opt to provide passwords with a mixture of alphabets and numbers. In those places you can crea...

A Trip to Hogenakkal

My roommates used to be busy even in the weekends and hardly get time to relax. We planned for a trip to Hogenakkal for the past 4 months and it executed on 08 th of March. This trip means something to me and I wish to share the experiences. Hogenakkal falls is a waterfall on the river Kaveri; sometimes described as the “Niagara of India”. It is located in the Dharmapuri district of Tamilnadu and it is 180 Km away from Bangalore city. Actually the name is derived from Kannada words Hoge (Smoke) + Kal (Stone), which literally mean fog from rock and you can witness this along with drizzling. You should not miss three things in your trip 1. Oil massage and bath in the waterfalls 2. Boating and 3. Fresh fish.   Instructions which won’t practically apply. We started by 5 o clock from Bangalore and reached around 8 ‘o’clock in the morning and as usual paid some bucks for entry and parking to unknown persons who disappear afterwards. As soon as you get down from the ...

My Independence Day Speech

I take this opportunity to wish you all for “ The 71 st Independence day of India ”.                    Being a Management Graduate, I was taught to look at everything as Business. Today, I am going to talk about a Business which had one Vision, few Missions, unstructured decentralized organization, No technology used, Operated in PAN India with zero Finance and Human capital as the only asset. But still it managed to acquire a historical success.           Do you feel this topic is irrelevant? No, I will make it relevant! I am going to tell you the management lessons I have learned from the Indian freedom struggle. Vision The seed of Independence was spread in people mind even before the reported freedom struggle started in the year 1857. People had one vision that was “Independent India”. The leaders who emerged in the move...
